I was excited to use the "Basic Vocab Screener and Progress Tracker" for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten children. I chose this product because evaluating progress in expressive vocabulary can be a daunting task without using a standardized test. This tool is great to use as a vocabulary screener or a progress monitoring tool for vocabulary. You can use it as a print copy or save a tree and use it on your Ipad (IOS 7 or better). The pictures are clear, colorful and engaging and most are actual photographs. Here's how I used it:
First, I printed off the HELPFUL data collection sheet (page 1 is pictured below):

Full size and small images are available as are color and black and white! You could use the smaller images as stimuli for vocabulary games and activities too.
